- Experienced an outage in January 2012
Conclusion
MyFax has a user-friendly online interface and great
pricing. However, MyFax experienced a power outage as
well as customer login issues in June 2011. MyFax experienced
another outage in January 2012. MyFax has since resolved these
issues, and its service and website are restored. At $10 per
month for 500 free combined pages, MyFax is an excellent option
for people who send and receive faxes regularly, and if you
prepay for a year, your monthly rate comes out to $8.33. MyFax's

Cons
- Pages in plan aren't combined
- High monthly fee for number of pages included
Conclusion
eFax has a good online fax service and the most
subscribers of any online fax service, but its pricing is on the
high end. Compared to our market standard of $10 per
month for 300 free combined pages, eFax is quite a bit more
expensive at $16.95 per month for 150 free incoming and 150 free
outgoing pages. We've received lots of negative feedback about
eFax having poor customer support and it being difficult to
cancel your service. eFax offers a 30-day free trial, so you can

Pros
- 30-day free trial period
Cons
- Hidden Fee: Charges five cents per fax per month to store faxes online after 30 days
- Can send and receive faxes from only two email addresses
- Poor quality customer support
Conclusion
RapidFAX is a good online fax service with a couple of drawbacks. RapidFAX has a hidden fee that charges you for storing faxes online for more than 30 days. At $9.95 per month for 300 combined pages, RapidFAX's pricing is right in line with our Market Standard. We found their customer support to be thorough, but unfortunately, they didn't answer all of our test questions correctly. RapidFAX offers a 30-day free trial of their online fax service.
The feedback we have received from RapidFAX users has been very negative. Many users have complained about lost faxes as well as being billed after canceling. Complete RapidFAX review

Send2Fax gives you 50 more pages than the Market Standard
at slightly higher price than the Market Standard. We
found phone support to be fairly knowledgeable, but emails took
days to get a response. Send2Fax offers a 30-day trial for you to
test out their faxing service.

Plan Reviewed: Budget Send and Receive Plan
Pros
- Can send and receive faxes using 20 email addresses
Cons
- $9.95 start-up fee
- High monthly fee for number of pages included
- Software/hardware required to send and receive faxes
- No phone customer support
- Poor quality customer support
Conclusion
There are many other online fax services that are more
comprehensive with better customer service. ClickFax
only gives you 50 combined pages per month for $9.95, which is
roughly 17% of our Market Standard of 300 combined pages. Their
customer support was extremely poor, and they never answered any
of our emails. ClickFax has a 15-day free trial, but it only
comes with three outgoing faxes.

Plan Reviewed: Virtual Fax
Pros
- 30-day free trial period
- Can create a "blocked"/ "allowed" call list so that you aren't charged for blocked calls
- High quality customer support
Cons
- Charges $12 upfront for future overage fees
- $10 startup fee
- No free pages included
- Pages in plan aren't combined
- No online fax storage
- No online interface
Conclusion
AirComUSA's Virtual Fax plan is expensive, considering you pay $8.95 per month, plus a $10 setup fee, and don't receive any free incoming or outgoing fax pages. You're also charged $12 upfront, but this amount goes to paying for your faxes. With AirComUSA, you must send and receive faxes from your email, but it is a very straightforward and simple process. AirComUSA's customer support was very helpful, and AirComUSA does offer a 30-day free trial. Complete AirComUSA Review

Pros
- 30-day free trial period
- One-year online fax storage
Cons
- Pages in plan aren't combined
Conclusion
FaxSer's Best Deal plan is nearly in line with our Market
Standard. However, FaxSer only has local fax numbers
available in Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York. FaxSer gives
you 125 free incoming and 125 free outgoing pages per month
compared to our Market Standard of 300 free combined pages per
month, but is still a relatively good value. Their customer
support was knowledgeable but not very friendly. FaxSer has a
30-day free trial.

- High quality customer support (email)
- Low overage rates
Cons
- No free trial period
- Pages in plan aren't combined
- Difficult to send a fax in the online interface
- No phone customer support
Conclusion
UnityFax has a few drawbacks, but their product and
customer support are solid and they continue to make
improvements. UnityFax's pricing is right in line with
our market standard, and they include unlimited incoming pages

didn't work, but their responses via email were very thorough.
UnityFax doesn't offer a free trial, but its sister site

Sfax has a unique fax offering that focuses on security, but its pricing at $15 per month for 175 free combined pages is on the high side. Plan Reviewed: Faxaway
Pros
- No monthly fee
- Can send a fax to thousands of recipients at once
Cons
- Hidden Fee: Charges $1 monthly maintenance fee to store faxes online
- No free trial period
- No free pages included
- Local fax numbers only available in Seattle, Washington
- Doesn't accept .pdf or .tif file types for sending faxes
Conclusion
Faxaway's fax service is very limiting in that the only area code available for fax numbers is Seattle (area code 206). You must pay a $10 starting balance before being able to use the service, and Faxaway has a hidden fee of $1 per month to store faxes online. With Faxaway, you must send and receive faxes from your email. Faxaway is best suited for people who only fax a few pages per month and want to forego a monthly fee. Faxaway has above average customer support but doesn't offer a free trial to test out its service. Complete Faxaway Review

Pros
- Unlimited incoming and 20 outgoing pages included
- Offers a package that bundles online fax service with the ability to receive voice mail, make call transfers, and more
- Local fax numbers available in 44 states
- Auto resends for a minute if a fax fails to go through
- Can send a fax to up to 10 recipients at once
Cons
- Pages in plan aren't combined
- Can't send faxes by email unless you pay an additional $2.50/month
- No phone customer support
- Can receive faxes to only 1 email address unless you pay an additional $2.50/month
Conclusion
Popfax is a decent online fax service if you need a local number and don't anticipate sending many faxes. If you expect to send more than 20 fax pages per month, there are other services on the market that are better suited for your needs. Popfax has no phone customer support and instead has email support. Popfax provides a 3-day free trial limited to four faxes to test out their service. Complete PopFax Review

Cons

Conclusion
FaxBetter is very competitively priced but falls short by

it was sufficient when we tested it. FaxBetter doesn't offer a

(you can receive but not send faxes, and you must receive a fax
