TrustFax Conclusion
With a low monthly fee and Market Standard overage charges, TrustFax offers a decent plan for sending online faxes. TrustFax's phone support is good, but our emails were never truly answered. TrustFax has a 30-day free trial.
TrustFax has a monthly fee of $8.95. They do not have a start-up fee. The plan we reviewed included 250 free combined incoming and outgoing pages per month. This is slightly fewer than our Market Standard of 300 combined pages per month. TrustFax also offers a 30-day free trial.
The online interface is easy to use, only requiring a few steps to send a fax. You can fax up to five documents at once. You can only send a fax to one recipient at a time. You also cannot preview your fax before you send it. You can store faxes online free for 30 days, and afterwards you can continue to store faxes at a rate of one cent per page per month. The length of time is consistent with our Market Standard, but the fee is not standard. You can send faxes from up to five different email addresses. You can receive faxes at two different email addresses as well.
TrustFax offers local fax numbers in 25 states. They offer free (800), (866), and (877) numbers. Phone customer support is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Phone customer support was knowledgeable answering all of our questions to our satisfaction, but email queries were never fully answered.
