TrustFax Conclusion
TrustFax has a decent plan for sending online faxes, offering a low monthly fee and Market Standard overage charges. We found that TrustFax offers quality phone support, but our test emails were never truly answered.
TrustFax has a monthly fee of $8.95. It does not have a startup fee. The plan we reviewed includes 250 combined incoming and outgoing pages per month. This is fewer than our Market Standard of 300 combined pages per month. TrustFax offers a 30-day free trial.
The online interface is easy to use, only requiring a few steps to send a fax, but you cannot preview your fax before you send it. You can fax up to five documents at once, but you can only send a fax to one recipient at a time. You can send faxes from up to five different email addresses and receive faxes on two email addresses. Online fax storage is free for the first 30 days, and afterwards you'll be charged a rate of one cent per page per month. The length of time is consistent with our Market Standard, but the fee is not standard.
TrustFax offers local fax numbers in 25 states. It offers free (855), (866), and (877) numbers. Phone customer support is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Customer support techs were knowledgeable and answered all of our questions to our satisfaction, but our email queries were never fully resolved.
TrustFax does not have mobile versions of its product available at this time.
