FaxNGo Shuts Down Service
Austin, Texas, September 9, 2015 – Online fax provider FaxNGo recently sent letters to its customers letting them know that its service ended as of September 8, 2015.
For those with accounts, FaxNGo continued account service through Sept. 17, after which point it terminated all accounts and deleted data stored on its servers.
FaxNGo’s website remains up, but its blog and social media accounts have been deleted.
The online fax provider had offered cloud-based faxing, and was owned by ClickMeIn. It was one of the more feature-rich online fax services, offering a digital signature tool, editing software, a mobile app for Android and Apple phones, and local fax numbers. It was a newer service in the market, and had been compared with HelloFax, another relatively young fax provider that offered built-in esigning.
Based on our own tests and user comments, it seems that FaxNGo experienced technical glitches – like generating geographically inaccurate local numbers – during its short lifetime.
The company could not be reached for comment.
